I'm looking for 2 things: 1) Italian-Italian or Italian-English dictionary file that I could use to fill up my own dictionary program 2) on-line Italian-Italian or Italian-English dictionary that I could use if the first resource is not sufficient
What I'm doing is - I wrote my own on-line dictionary interface that I control and that I can adapt to the way I learn and want to use it. Currently I have set it up with Indonesian/English dictionary, but I would like to expand the content to other languages and start first of all with Italian.
I know there are downloadable dictionary files compatible for example with Stardict files, but for Italian I find only Italian-German and I also have no idea how to easily read StartDict format - there are 2 files .DZ that looks binary and .IDX that contain just an index of Italian words... Is it easy to write StartDict file parser to convert them to some other format?
Maybe there are public Italian-Italian or Italian-English entry sets for SRS programs or something similar?
